The Story
Tucked away in a lush, tree-canopied neighborhood celebrated for its winding roads and architectural diversity, this California Cape Cod serves as the ultimate "forever home" for an active family of four. The project was a study in balancing high-end, "dream home" aspirations with the high-energy reality of family life.

The Design
To achieve the "elevated Shabby Chic" aesthetic the client envisioned, we utilized crisp white walls as a gallery-like backdrop for glistening chandeliers and bespoke lighting. The interiors are a playful yet sophisticated dance of opposites: soft, textured upholstery is punctuated by vibrant, colorful pillows, while rustic, time-worn furniture adds a layer of soulful durability.

True livability means creating room for every family member's passions. We designed a dedicated, custom-tailored sanctuary for the homeowner to house and display his extensive comic book collection, proving that high-end design can be both deeply personal and expertly organized.

The Result
A bright, airy, and spirited home that feels both "dressed up" and completely relaxed. This residence perfectly captures our philosophy of functional beauty, ensuring that every family member—from kids to collectors—feels right at home.
